Vivekananda brought to light that man and his actual nature is divine. His concept of universal religion has placed all the religions of the world on the same platform. This paper tends to understand Vivekananda’s identification of the concept of universal religion and and its applicability in the modern global city of the 21stcentury. Now it’s time to implement this concept in today’s world. To abide by the ideal of universal religion is the only way out in this multi-cultural and multi-religious world.
