A survey was carried out to evaluate the status of fluoride content in drinking water sources of villages of
Rajgarh District M.P. The water samples were collected from the hand pumps of 15 villages of Rajgarh
(Block) in summer season. The result revealed that fluoride content in all samples ranges between 2.5 to 4
ppm. The adsorption of fluoride on different adsorbents was investigated in the present study. The
adsorption of fluoride on adsorbents was found to follow Freundlich and Langmuir isotherm1.
