The manga are a part of japanese culture for a long time and in the end of the 20th century became very famous in Brazil. This paper wishes to analyze the importance of this written production as a source for researches and how it can help the historian understand the Japanese context during World War II. To do such thing, a full research will be done using theoretical texts about the history of the narrative that mangas bring and it´s importance to the land of rising sun
