In the current study, it was possible to compose a catalogue by dating the lamps of the Roman period in the Antalya Museum that were obtained through donation, purchase and confiscation. The aim is eventually to contribute to further studies by means of the created catalogue. In the study, a typology was created based on the similars of 27 lamps, and dates were tentatively
assigned in light of similar samples. The samples which did not have direct paralells were dated to the
period in which they were used based on their forms and on the structures of their nozzles. The lamps
of the Roman Period in the Antalya Museum, which is also the title of this study, were divided into 12
groups and were analyzed. The catalogues were searched for the lamps obtained. As a result of this
study, it was determined that the lamps date from the first century AD at the earliest to the sixth century
AD at the latest.
