The article analyzes the educational discourse of the cadets of a military institute
concerning the use of precedent texts in it. The goal of the research is to find out the
sphere of precedent texts in the speech of cadets of military institutes and to define
the specificity of functioning for precedent texts. The author reveals generalized
expressions and determines the way of their introduction to the context. It points
out primary and specificities of the educational discourse in the given aspect
