Background: Previous studies rarely identified the burden of Non-communicable Diseases (NCD) comorbidities among people with Tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia. Aims: This study identified the prevalence of NCD comorbidity and multimorbidity among people with TB in Indonesia. Settings and Design: This study was a cross-sectional study collecting secondary data from the 2018 Basic Health Research. Methods and Materials: The study’s respondents were 2974 people with TB aged? 15 years old. NCD comorbidity was measured as the condition when people with TBsuffered from one NCD. While people who present two or more NCDs had multimorbidity. NCDs' data were based on the doctor's diagnosis and collected through interviews, except hypertension, which was also by blood pressure measurement. Statistical analysis used: Data were analyzed using Chi-square and logistic regression tests. Results: The doctor’s diagnosis mostly predicted some NCD comorbidities among people with TB, such as asthma (13.3%), hypertension (11.2%), diabetes (7.7%), and heart disease (5.5%). The proportion of respondentswith hypertension based on the blood pressure measurement was 33.8%. Around 12.1% and5% of the respondents with NCD comorbidity and multimorbidity have not been diagnosed yet. The probability of NCD comorbidities among people with TB was higher in line with the increase of age (p<0.05 for the 36 45, 46-55, 56-65, and >65 age group) and to the high socioeconomic status (p<0.05). Conclusions: Indonesia still faces the burden of NCD comorbidity and multimorbidity in people with TB. The government should conduct more intensive screening for NCD and its risk factors in people with TB and provide integrated TB and NCD services.
