Suara Kelelawar (Microchiroptera) dari Gua Gudawang, Bogor

Bat identification generally uses methods that require researchers to caught bat. This method is considered to hurt bats and increase the chance of disease transmission between bats and researchers. Identification using echolocation calls is considered can reduce those impacts. Form and characters of the echolocation calls of the bat different among species, this differences can be used to identification bat. However, this method still not fully done in Indonesia because the database of calls is limited. This research aims to find out the form and characters of the bat calls as consideration in the calls identification. Bat was caught at Gudawang Cave Karst area, Cigudeg, Bogor in March-June 2018 and January-February 2020. The bats that observed i.e. Rhinolophus affinis, R. Stheno, R. pusillus, Hipposideros larvatus, H. Diadema, Hipposideros sp, Miniopterus australis, M. fuliginosus, and Megaderma Spasma. Each species has a peak frequency 71.61, 86.12, 101.46, 101.21, 68.59, 86.30, 75.62, 50.18, and 42.60 kHz. Four species of them can also be distinguished by the calls character.
