In the digital world, use of the digital system to achieve image
processing on the digital data. This paper deals with method
enhancing the feature or details of fingerprint image and also
lessen the from the images. In this paper, hybrid high boost
filtering and minutiae based matching techniques is applied on
spatial data which greatly enhancing the quality of the
fingerprint image. The methodology greatly enhancing the
sharpening and brightness of the fingerprint image data. The
experimental analysis of the proposed method is done on
MATLAB2012 tools box. The comparison of the method is
done using image processing performance metrics parameter
such as FAR, FRR and accuracy with existing approach. The
accuracy of the proposed is about 98 % which is more than the
existing one.
