We evaluated the development of chicory seedlings (
Cichorium intybus Cichorium)
produced in different trays and commercial substrat
es in the greenhouse of UNIVAG in
Varzea Grande-MT, in November 2012. The experimenta
l design was a randomized
block in factorial 3 x5 schema with three types of
polystyrene trays (128, 200 and 288),
five types of substrates with two replications. Bet
ter development of chicory seedlings
was observed in trays of 128 cells and the substrat
e as the Vivato Plus showed superior
results for the characteristics.
