We evaluated the growth of seedlings of watermelon
cv. Crimson Sweet produced on
different substrates and trays in the greenhouse. T
he experimental design was a
randomized block with 3 x 5 factorial scheme, compr
ising three trays (128, 200 and
288 cells), and five types of substrates (Bioplant;
Sprouting, Plant Max; Maxxi and
Green Living) two replicates. The combination of Pl
antmax HT
®
and 288 trays
provide the best growing conditions for seedlings of watermelon cultivar Crimson.
