Roma minority social care and health status in Slovakia after 1990, deals with the overall Roma social and health situation. This article informs about empirical research that points to the health determinants, but also the wider life circumstances of Roma in Slovakia. Author on the basis of selected empirical data gained from research reflects the need for continuing health education of the population, especially in Roma settlements.
