Statistical analysis of data collected in the field is part of quantitative research. Due to time and economic reasons most frequently we can obtained the statistical sample set, which is a subset of the population. Inductive statistics deals with the conditions of the characteristics of the sample were used to adequate, undistorted estimate of the properties of the population. One of the first steps to starting a project of the field and quantitative research is to determine the minimum sufficient sample size. Statistical approach is explained on the illustrative example of interval estimate of the mean.
