In this article authors describe the basic anatomy and functions of the male genital organs. Attention is paid to infections and diseases of the urogenital system, on the most common microorganisms occurring in the urogenital organs and analyse the most common sexually transmitted infection. They also explain principles of collection of biological material for examination of urinary system infections, principles of sampling of biological material for examination of the genital tract infections in men and principles of sending of biological material to examination.
