Butterfly population in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park is significantly decreasing. One way to keep the sustainability of this endemic and distinctive species is to carry out planting of fodder plants. Lada-lada (Micromelum minutum) is one species of fodder plants. The most important thing in planting fodder plant is to provide seedling stock. The aim of this research is to find out the best germination media, weaning media and shadingof lada-lada in order to optimize seedling production. The research utilized Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The results showed that Micromellum minutum can be sown in soil, sand and rice husk. Best weaning media and shading for Micromellum minutum seedling is mixing media which consist of soil, manure and rice husk with composition 1:1:1 with 50% shade intensity.
