The main aim of the journal is to publish high quality, peer-reviewed papers that relate to all branches of surgery. The Annals also includes letters, comments, a regular technical section, the best trainee presentations from around the UK, book reviews and a surgical website review forum. The Annals editorial committee is composed of members of the College Council, trainees and experts from across the surgical specialties.
