The European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research is an anonymously peer reviewed Journal. It is published four times a year, with two thematic issues and two issues that are open to various contributions. The Journal focuses on the European dimension of crime and looks at its research and policy implications. Areas covered by this Journal, that people are invited to submit articles about, include: Crime in the European context at large: the enlargement of Europe means greater opportunities for crime, but it is also an incentive for the process of approximating law and building institutions to counteract it. The Journal monitors crime trends in an enlarged Europe and follows this process of legislative and institutional change.
