Socijalna psihijatrija is a peer-reviewed bilingual journal, and is the longest living Croatian psychiatric journal. The mission of the journal is to provide information and new insights from different areas of psychiatry and psychology, which is achieved by publishing articles in these areas. The scope of work encompasses a wide range of disciplines. These are primarily social psychiatry, clinical psychiatry and psychology, biomedical psychiatry, psychotherapy, forensics psychiatry, war psychiatry, alcohol and other addictions, mental health protection among persons with intellectual and developing disabilities, psychiatric epidemiology, deontology, psychiatric service organisation and others. Papers are commonly categorized into original scientific, scholarly papers, professional papers, case studies, reviews and news. .
