ABOUT JOURNAL OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL METHOD AND THEORY

Journal of Archaeological Method and Theory furnishes timely and authoritative "topical syntheses", substantial original articles that critically assess and integrate research on a specific subject in archaeological method or theory. More than a bibliographic essay, each article establishes a framework for synthesizing findings, provides incisive commentary on previous work, and identifies research priorities.
