The Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis is the official publication of the Japan Atherosclerosis Society. Contribution from non-members are also acceptable.The editors of JAT aim to publish original contributions. Therefore, for original articles, JAT will not publish articles in which a significant portion of the data, either in the form of figures or tables, has been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. JAT requires that the authors state in their cover letter that no data similar to those reported in their manuscript have been published elsewhere other than in abstract form and that they are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
