Building on its reputation as a high quality resource for geophysical data in the deep ocean basins, Marine Geophysical Researches (MGR) has broadened its scope beyond the traditional focus on international efforts to better understand the global mid-ocean ridge system. MGR has begun presenting multi-disciplinary research articles and studies from the margins community. The expanded coverage includes studies of continental margin geophysics, structure, stratigraphy and sediment deposition processes. We have developed a speciality in the study of marine resources, especially gas hydrate accumulations, considering not only their role as sources of hydrocarbons but also in the geo-hazard area.
