Planta publishes original articles and invited reviews in all aspects of plant biology, particularly in - molecular and cell biology, - biochemistry, - metabolism and physiology, - growth, development and morphogenesis, - ecological and environmental physiology, - biotechnology, - structural biology, - plant-microorganism interactions. Preference is given to experimental articles and articles serving as the basis for experimental work.
