The mission of the Journal of Production & Operations Management (JPOM) is to publish original, high quality empirical research that will have a significant impact on theory and practice. Articles accepted for publication in JPOM must have clear implications for researchers and operations managers based on research methodologies. JPOM publishes insightful and conceptual/theoretical studies with clear implications for practice.
JPOM's distinctive emphasis is on the management of operations and production. Accordingly, the aim of JPOM is to enhance the field of Operations and Production Management and develop generalizable theory, typically through the identification, analysis, and theorization of real problems.
