Higher Learning Research Communications (HLRC) is a fully open access, peer reviewed and editorial reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing research in higher education. The journal aims to advance knowledge on all aspects concerning teaching and learning in higher education. The scope of the journal includes topics in digital teaching and learning; workplace competence, assessment and development; global civic community engagement; higher education contribution to the public good; and how best practices can influence higher education policy.
Authors, researchers and experts in the field of higher education globally are invited to submit their original, unpublished contributions. All papers relevant to higher education research, policy, and practice will be considered, including literature reviews; reports; qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods empirical research; and book reviews, among others. The journal is published in English but accepts submissions in other languages. If submitting in a language other than English, Spanish or Portuguese, please contact the editorial team before submitting a manuscript. These submissions must include an abstract in English and, if accepted, will be published in both the original language and an English translation. There are no submission fees or processing charges.
