he Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was created in 1983 on occasion of the 20thanniversary celebration of the Foundation back then the Colombian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, through which articles of opinion, revision, reflection and clinical cases in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation have been published.
The purpose of the journal of the Colombian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is to facilitate the dissemination of academic work related to practice, research and education in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Residents and professionals working in areas of rehabilitation as therapists. The themes of the publications can be all about the general rehabilitation of people, at all stages of the human life cycle, as well as in specialized areas such as cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, professional rehabilitation, orthoses and prostheses, electrodiagnostic medicine and Legislation for people with disabilities.
