Borneo Journal of Marine Science and Aquaculture (BJoMSA) is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes original research contributions to marine science, fisheries and aquaculture. Although the Journal carries the regional name ‘Borneo’ it publishes papers from any part of the world, true to its international character. The journal invites original papers, short communications and review articles. The Journal is aimed at a broad scientific audience and those subjects linked to science across a wide spectrum of disciplines. Therefore, scope of the Journal includes topics in various areas of: -Oceanography -Marine biodiversity -Marine ecosystem dynamics and ecological tipping points -Biology of marine organisms -Harmful algal blooms -Aquaculture -Smart fish farming systems -Stock enhancement and sea ranching -Seafood safety and security -Biomimicry and bioinspired designs for aquaculture and sea ranching -Marine biotechnology -Sustainable fisheries -Social-ecological systems -Climate change impacts and adaptations BJoMSA will provide a viable platform for researchers to share novel perspectives in the above disciplines. Interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary papers that generate innovative and problem-solving information in sustainable management of natural populations, restoration of marine critical habitats and development of blue economy for seafood security and socio-economic welfare will receive priority
