The Medical Education Unit of the North Bengal Medical College, Sushrutanagar, Darjeeling is publishing a journal for undergraduate medical students titled the “Journal of Undergraduate Medical Research (JUMR)”, since January 2019. The journal, an easily accessible, peer-reviewed journal, attempts to provide a platform for undergraduate medical/ dental students, for publication and wider dissemination of original research undertaken by them during their undergraduate years including project works undertaken as part of their academic curriculum. In addition, the journal also considers for publication brief research articles, special articles, case reports and letters to editor from them. Review articles and editorials, of importance to the undergraduate medical/ dental students, are welcome from students and faculty alike for publication in the journal.
