JIL: Journal of Islamic Law (e-ISSN 2721-5040 & p-ISSN 2721-5032) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M), Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Pontianak, in collaboration with Asosiasi Dosen Hukum Keluarga Islam (ADHKI) Indonesia. This journal, first published on February 25, 2020, provides a forum for academics and researchers interested in current issues of Islamic law and its development in the future. This journal also aims to bridge the gap between textual and contextual approaches and integrate the two is facing the challenges of changing laws and increasingly complex social institutions.
