We are a network of professors, researchers, students and peace-building activists in Latin America and the Caribbean who intend to contribute from thought, verbal and written ideas, daily praxis, articles, books, chapters, messages, reviews, notes, artistic manifestations, and everything that creativity can potentiate from culture and education for peaceful coexistence with social justice, true democracy, freedom and dignity of human life.
We intend, from the perspective of Latin American critical thought, to promote the decolonization of peace, justice, democracy, freedom, racism, neoliberal feminism, vertical and dominant interculturality, hegemonic science, education at the service of oppression and exploitation, as well as all the thoughts and practices that subjugate, exclude, marginalize and humiliate the peoples of our America. From interculturality for peace we promote the decolonized methods of Ethnography for Conflicts and Peace (EtnoPaz) and Intercultural Participatory Action Research (IAPI).
