The Interdisciplinary and Environment Journal (RIMA) began its work in 2019, by initiative of the Research Group Environmental Management in the Semiarid (GAS) is a channel for scientific dissemination that has periodicity of continuous flow with an annual edition and that proposes to disseminate, on its electronic platform and free access, the distinct lines of research that are related to the areas: Interdisciplinary, Environmental Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Collective Health and Engineering I. It also aims to permanently foster discussions about the problems faced in Brazil, especially the difficulties from the point of view of regional and local issues, without neglecting the necessary dialogue with research inside and outside the university. This journal counts on the support of numerous national and international researchers from different universities. These researchers belong to several research networks in the interdisciplinary and environmental areas, including graduate programs linked to Brazilian universities. In addition, the editors in charge adopt the best scientific practices, such as peer review (Double Blind Review), which consequently guarantees the confidentiality of the entire scientific team. All scientific papers that are submitted to RIMA can be submitted in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with the Abstract presented in a different language from the main text. The Scientific Committee has a relevant scientific production and is committed to develop a precise work in the improvement of scientific and international indicators, with quality indexations inserted in the bibliometric database. Regarding the QUALIS/CAPES of the journal, it obtained the following classifications in the areas: - XX in Interdisiplinary; - XX in Environmental Sciences; - XX in Engineering I.
