KHYBER MEDICAL UNIVERSITY JOURNAL (KMUJ) started its publication in 2009 as KUST Medical Journal (KMJ)-the official journal of Kohat university Of science and technology (KUST), Institue of Medical sciences (KIMS) Kohat. KMJ continued its publication till Decemebr 2011 when KUST Institue of Medical sciences (KIMS) Kohat was officially handed over to Khyber Medical University (KMU ) Peshawar as Khyber Medical University (KMU) Institue of medical sciences (KIMS). after the mutual agreement of KUST and KMU, KUST Medical journal-KMJ was declared as official journal of Khyber Medical University peshawar and was renamed as Khyber Medical University Journal (KMUJ) and it has continued its publication without any break (from volume 4 onward) as KMUJ-Khyber Medical University Journal from KMU Institute of Medical Scienes (KIMS) Kohat.
Khyber Medical University journal (KMUJ), is a peer reviewed medical journal publsihed by Khyber Medical University (KMU) Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Kohat-Pakistan. KMUJ is recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Counsil and is included in INDEX PAKISTAN, IMEMR, INDEX CPERNICUS URL: http://www.kmuj.kmu.edu.pk/index
